The ministerial meeting of the Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee is held in Istanbul

 

The preparatory ministerial meeting for the eighth session of the Supreme Strategic Committee between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Turkey was held in Istanbul, which was held on 10/14/2022, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the country, and His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the sister Republic of Turkey.
The Qatari side was chaired in the meeting by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, while the Turkish side was chaired by HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Çavuşoğlu.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance work and strategic cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including agreements and memorandums of understanding to be signed during the work of the Strategic Committee. They also discussed the latest developments in regional and international issues of common concern, especially the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and Turkey's role in grain transportation. In addition to the Algerian declaration of Palestinian reconciliation, and the latest developments in Iraq and Libya.
HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Qatari-Turkish talks that took place today were constructive, explaining that the two countries agreed to continuously develop relations, especially in the economic, investment and trade fields.
