Dr.Naif Bin Jassim Al-Abduljabbar, Consul General of the State of Qatar in Istanbul, participated today in the opening of the Traditional Sports Festival held in the city of Istanbul.

The festival was inaugurated by Mr. Bilal Erdoğan, President of the World Ethnosport Confederation, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Davut Gül, Governor of Istanbul, Their Excellencies Heads of Diplomatic Missions, and a number of prominent figures in Istanbul.

H.E. was accompanied by Mr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, Second Secretary at the Consulate General.

Also in attendance on the Qatari side was a delegation from the Qatari Hunters Association, headed by Mr. Ali bin Khatem Al-Muhshadi, President of the Association, and Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulatif Al-Misnad, Vice President of the Association.

The Consulate General of the State of Qatar in Istanbul participated with a heritage pavilion in the form of a Qatari tent featuring a Qatari falcon. A selection of traditional Qatari dishes was offered, alongside introducing visitors to Qatari culture and traditional sports.
