Dr.Naif Bin Jassim Al-Abduljabbar, Consul General of the State of Qatar in Istanbul, received H.E. Mr. Davut Gül, Governor of Istanbul, in the presence of Mr. Metin Maytalman, District Governor of Sarıyer, at the Consulate General’s premises, within the framework of the distinguished fraternal relations between the State of Qatar and the sisterly Republic of Türkiye.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Khalifa bin Jabr Tawar Al-Kuwari, Second Secretary, and Mr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, Second Secretary, along with Major Saqr bin Ali Al-Majli, Assistant Military Attaché.

At the outset of the meeting, H.E. the Governor of Istanbul reiterated his heartfelt condolences on the passing of the nation’s great loss, His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, may Allah have mercy upon him, expressing his sincere sympathy to the State of Qatar—its leadership, government, and people.

During the meeting, the close cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries were reviewed, and a number of topics of mutual interest were discussed, reflecting the depth of the strategic partnership and the strong bonds of friendship between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Türkiye, and affirming the mutual commitment to strengthening cooperation and coordination across various fields.
